Subject: Go For This!
I found this show by doing a search through the Internet Archive (IA) for Johnny Cash songs. I was delighted to find that out of five songs, Green Light Council plays two Johnny Cash tunes in this show. Yes, the uploader forgot mention that not only is "Long Black Veil" a Johnny Cash tune, but so is "Cocaine Blues." This show represents some high quality jamband music with some great aforementioned covers.

While I came to this show for the Johnny Cash covers, I walked away being completely blown away by some of the originals. In particualar "YUM2" (track 4) is jamband paradise -(with the exception of the vocals) it doesn't get any better by anybody! Your jaw will drag on the ground after you hear this 23 minute tune. In general, the only drawback to Green Light Concil is that the vocals are lackluster; they'd be so much better off if they choose to be an instrumental band.

Since there's only about 52 minutes of music in this show, you can find some great Johnny Cash fillers by checking out the IA's "Jon Langford."

It's great to finally see some GLC on the archive. This is a great example of the awesome jamming ability of this up and coming band. Sound quality is very good. Download this show.

yay, highly recommend this show!
without being able to be at a GLC show - which you should do - this show really captures the experience. YUM2, playing now, sounds so excellent, but the whole show is intense. the GLC with Donna Hopkins too - so nice.

thank you Forbin...more shows on the archive, yes?

Subject: A great pick!
This is one of the highest sound quality shows we have. Not only that but the content is great too. Country Ham and YUM2 are true Gems. I would at least download those two tracks.
